How We Met (by Amy)
Alistair and I first met (or rather saw each other) at the ultimate end of season party in November 2003. He was there with a friend of a friend, and one of my friends pointed him out to me with the comment “Hey, he's cute. You should go out with him.” Alistair managed to send me his email address through our mutual friends which sparked lots of gossip. After a chat over coffee and surviving our first (somewhat traumatizing) date – which involved a pushy belly dancer – I was hooked.
How We Met (by Alistair)
Shortly after I moved to Ottawa a friend from university came out here to work for a year, Jayanti Sharma. Jayanti met Amy's group of friends through ultimate. At the end of the fall there was a party for ultimate folk and, as I had been playing on a team through the fall, I went. At the party, I saw Jayanti and was introduced to Amy, her friends, and Amy's brother, Isaac. In the following days we got in touch and arranged to meet. The rest is history...
