We are fortunate to have our dear friends making up our wedding party.

Amy's Maids of Honour

Hilary  Myron and I met when she moved to Ottawa from Toronto when we were both in grade 2.  With the exception of a couple of years, we went through the rest of elementary and high school together.  We've been good friends since we first met, and I have fond memories of going over to Hilary's house at lunch time for her mother's famous tuna sandwiches and matzo ball soup and after school to play Nintendo.

Miriam Padolsky joined Hilary and I when we were in grade 7 and went on to high school with us also.  We all managed to stay close even when they left the city to go to university, and Miriam and I still share a love for Woody Allen and Hugh Grant movies.

Alistair's Best Man

Matt Davidge and I met through a bit of serendipity. Being new to Ottawa, I was looking for a boat to sail on and put my name on a crew list at the local sailing club. Matt's father, Bob, got in touch as he needed crew since Matt wasn't available that summer.  Bob and I worked well together and sailed for a few seasons winning lots of good hardware. In the meantime Matt and I met and became the best of friends.  We've spent many a long day at the sailing club and the ski hill competing, talking, and hand-sailing late into the night.
